The Amapur diet is based upon three latest scientific principles...
Negative calorie balance as the only effective basis for weight loss
Amapur reduces body fat based on the principles of a negative calorie balance. This means that your body consumes more calories than it takes in through food consumption. In order to balance the difference between calories consumed and calories burned, the body starts to use its fat reserves. This results in weight loss. According to current scientific findings, a negative calorie balance is the only effective way to burn body fat. Amapur offers a healthy, sensible approach to maintaining a negative calorie balance.
A low glycemic index optimizes fat burning
A low insulin level is one of the most important conditions for effectively burning body fat. Insulin regulates the take up of glucose from the blood to the cells. It activates fat storage in the cells and keeps fat from being burned. This effect becomes more pronounced as the insulin level rises. A surge in the blood sugar level causes the insulin level to increase. Thus, in order to create optimal conditions for burning fat, the blood sugar should be maintained at a constant level. Amapur meals have a low glycemic index (GI) to stabilize blood sugar level and keep your insulin level low. This reduces strain on the pancreas and optimizes fat burning.
Activating metabolism and curbing the appetite prevents yo-yo effect
Hourly Amapur meals activate your metabolism and ensure your body has all the vitamins and nutrients it needs at all times. This curbs hunger and helps you stay healthy and full of vitality while achieving the best weight loss results. Thanks to the high absorbency rate of guar, a natural dietary fibre, even light meals fill you up and effectively eliminate hunger pangs.
...with clinically proven results and certification of the SSAAMP!
To determine the effectiveness of the
amapur-diet, two clinical studies were undertaken by Dr. med. Roland
Ballier at the Swiss clinic Fachkurhaus Seeblick
for
Anti-Aging and Prevention Medicine. October 2005 through March 2006, 210 men and women participated voluntarily and without financial incentives in the 2-week amapur program.

Average weight loss of 9 lbs within 2 weeks
The first considerable result to be mentioned is that the amapur diet resulted in an average weight loss of 4,1kg (9 lbs, 5%) over a period of 13 days. Here, one has to take into account that those participants with a higher absolut starting weight were able to achieve a noticeably greater weight loss.10% improvement of blood pressure levels
In this context, the improvement of the blood pressure levels is also noticeable. Here, we found a reduction in the systolic value by approximately 10%.Cholesterol- and the LDL cholesterol levels significantly improved
Remarkable is also the effect of the amapur diet regarding the cholesterol levels. While the total cholesterol- and the LDL cholesterol levels significantly improved, there was no major change in the HDL cholesterol level. This shows that the known risk ratio of total cholesterol : HDL and LDL : HDL significantly improved as well. Incidentally, this result exceeded the expectations.Positive effects on the kidney retention- and uric acid values
Similarily positive is the decrease of the triglyceride levels by 26%, despite the intake of fat and carbohydrates during the diet. While analyzing additional parameters, the positive effects on the kidney retention- and uric acid values becomes obvious. Unlike protein-based diets, the uric acid values do not continue to rise, but rather stay at a constant level. Also, the amapur diet did not reduce the total amount of protein in the blood.Cravings for food were prevented and the yo-yo effect was avoided
One should note that all participants were able to tolerate the amapur diet extremely well, cravings for food were prevented and the yo-yo effect was avoided or only occurred to an insignificant degree. Further, the amapur diet did not reduce the total amount of protein in the blood and the usual health problems or -risks that are accompanying most diets are largely eliminated.
Amapur is certified by the SSAAMP
The Swiss Society for Anti-Aging Medicine and Prevention (SSAAMP) awarded the amapur diet it's premium quality seal.
